OTAGO FALL PREVENTION EXERCISE CLASS IN-PERSON!
- Interested in improving your balance and strength? Are you afraid of falling or have you had a fall? Otago may be the exercise class for you. It is a series of 17 strength and balance exercises that can reduce falls in older adults.
- Classes will be held at the Shepherd Park Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays for eight weeks beginning March 7th from 1PM to 2PM and will be taught by our trained volunteers. Participants will be required to wear a mask during the in-person classes. There will also be a once-a-week online Zoom class available. Please note that there is construction happening near the library and parking is limited. Rides may be able to be arranged.
