STILL LIFE DRAWING WORKSHOP WITH EDWARD MCCLUNEY
- ERCV's Visual Artists are excited that the talented artist, neighbor and friend, Edward McCluney is offering a Still Life Drawing workshop for us! Edward McCluney earned his MFA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1969. He has been a visual arts professor and exhibiting artist since 1973. He creates oils, watercolors, drawings, and prints. Subjects include genre, architecture, nudes, and nature.
- The 3-hour workshop will be held in an upstairs meeting room at the Juanita E. Thornton/Shepherd Park Library at 7420 Georgia Ave. There is an elevator.
- Bring drawing materials of your own choosing, Receive instruction in drawing and in using the materials of your own choice. Ed suggests bringing graphite pencils, charcoal, and perhaps colored pencils and pastels. If you bring charcoal or pastels, please bring a cloth to help you keep your hands clean. Bring at least one drawing pad (newsprint, finish drawing stock). 4 to 8 graded graphite pencils such as HB, B, 3B, 5B, Ebony, H, 2H, 4H, 5H. Bring a small interesting object from home to draw. We may or may not use it.
