FIELD TRIP TO IRENE & RICHARD FRARY GALLERY AT DC CAMPUS OF JOHNS HOPKINGS
· Join East Rock Creek Village friends and volunteers for a visit to the Irene & Richard Frary Gallery at the Johns Hopkins University DC Campus, located at 555 Pennsylvania Ave. NW.
· Exhibit: Strong, Bright, Useful & True: Recent Acquisitions and Contemporary Art from Baltimore. Featuring a vibrant mix of painting, sculpture, photography, and time-based media, this exhibit highlights contemporary Baltimore artists who are shaping the national and global arts landscape.
· Meeting Point: Meet at Takoma Metro Station at 10:15 AM to travel together via the Red Line to Judiciary Square. From there, it’s a short 0.3-mile walk (about 7 minutes) to the gallery. Coming from another stop or meeting us downtown? Call the ERCV office at 202-656-7322 to coordinate.
· Lunch Together: After the exhibit, we’ll head to Good Co. Donuts & Café for lunch (at your own expense).
· Return Time: We’ll return to Takoma by approximately 2:30 PM.
