Calling East Rock Creek Volunteers -- We are expecting to have about 100 neighbors, friends and members in attendance at Jazz on the Plaza at the Parks at Walter Reed on Sunday August 17th at from 4pm to 6pm.  Can you help out to make this event a success?

We will need help for set-up (raising our tent, putting out chairs, stocking coolers with drinks) beginning at 3pm, all during the concert -- distributing refreshments, checking in those who registered, handing out brochures and getting contact information for potential members and volunteers, and for clean-up and loading cars after 6pm. Please register on this page and indicate in the Comments box the hours you wish to help out and your preferred role --do you prefer to be seated or can serve standing or walking and whether you can do some lifting and lugging.  Or you can provide this information in an email reply to the confirmation message or to [email protected]

You can park for 1 1/2 hours free in the Whole Food garage -- be sure to validate your ticket near the self-checkout in the store before you leave.  After 1 1/2 hours you will be charged. You may want to walk or park on the street in the neighborhood north of the Parks
