ERCV AFTERNOON WALKERS -- -- meet @ Whole Foods

·      The Monday afternoon walkers meet at Whole Foods. The group will decide the route – usually on a walking track in the State Department section of the old Walter Reed but sometimes a path or road in Rock Creek Park.  The pace is moderate.  If we walk on the track, group members can decide how many laps to complete.  We usually walk for about an hour.

Participants can park in the underground Whole Foods garage entered from Dahlia or Fern west of 12th Street.  Get up to 90 minutes of free parking without making a purchase by validating your parking ticket near the check-out station before leaving.   You could do a quick shopping trip after the walk and still not have to pay for parking. 

·      If you register for the walk you will get an email confirmation and an email reminder and weather update on Sunday evening.  Reservations are not necessary, but if you call or text Judith McCullough at 202-255-2390 before 4:00 pm Monday, the group will wait for you to arrive before setting out.
