OTAGO FALL PREVENTION EXERCISE CLASS — IN PERSON
· Strengthen your body and improve your balance with our Otago Fall Prevention Exercise Program! This program includes 17 targeted exercises proven to help seniors reduce the risk of falls and increase confidence in daily movement.
· What to expect: All are welcome, including those using canes or walkers.
· Ankle weights available: Borrow a set from us or let us help you get your own.
· Comfortable venue: Classes are held in the upstairs meeting room of the Juanita E. Thornton/Shepherd Park Library (7420 Georgia Ave.). The venue features an elevator for accessibility and a large, well-ventilated room with air filtration. Masks are required for all participants and instructors.
· How to join: Go to ERCV’s event calendar and register for the class you want to attend or just email us to be placed on the reminder list.
