FIELD TRIP: AMY SHERALD: AMERICAN SUBLIME EXHIBIT AT BALTIMORE MUSEUM OF ART
• About the exhibition: Amy Sherald: American Sublime traces the evolution of one of the defining portrait artists of her generation through 38 paintings from 2007 to the present, from early works to her iconic, larger-than-life portraits of Black Americans—many painted in Baltimore with local models. Here is an excellent 1 hour long interview with Amy Sherald which was done at the opening of the exhibit. You can access it directly here: https://www.youtube.com/live/6Nuoa0UHv1Q The interview begins at about 30 minutes into the video. There is much more including a couple of other videos and a virtual tour through the exhibit at https://artbma.org/exhibition/amy-sherald-american-sublime
