ONLINE: GETTING READY TO USE RANKED CHOICE VOTING (RCV) 

·      Why This Matters: Beginning with the June 2026 DC Primary Elections, voters will use Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) in Primary and General Elections. With RCV, voters can rank candidates in order of preference instead of choosing just one candidate per office—giving voters a new opportunity to shape election outcomes. This session will help you feel confident, informed, and ready to vote.

·      Presenters: ERCV volunteer leader and League of Women Voters DC member Ann Castiglione-Cataldo and Kenyatta Smith with the Grow Democracy DC Civic Education Fund. It is the leading organization dedicated to educating DC voters about ranked choice voting, through their Rank the District project.
