NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART: DEAR AMERICA EXHIBIT 

·      Join friends and neighbors to explore what it means to be American. How have artists examined this question? Check out more than 100 works on paper show how artists have explored the American experience over the last 250 years through depictions of the country’s landscape, people, and concepts of freedom. 

·      Meet: Takoma Metro at 10am. We’ll take the red line to Judiciary Square and from there walk 0.4 mi to the National Gallery of Art. We will return at approximately 3pm. 

·      Lunch: we will eat together at the museum cafe. Each person will order and pay for their own food and drinks.
