Donations, Not Dues During the Pandemic
ERCV is offering Complimentary Memberships

In a normal year, which 2020 most certainly is not, ERCV's Board would ask for membership renewals and annual dues. This year, however, since the national health and economic crisis is continuing to affect our community, we are asking for donations instead of dues. Contributions may be made online by credit card (scroll down) or by checks mailed to East Rock Creek Village (ERCV)  7707 13th Street, NW, Washington, DC, 20012.

ERCV is offering complimentary memberships to seniors in our service area entitling them to delivery of food, Rx, supplies and friendly check-in calls, rides to medical appointments, as well as assistance with technology set-up and connecting with federal and district support services.

We do plan to revisit our membership policies and dues by the end of 2021, with the hopes that at that time, the COVID-19 virus will have receded, and our lives will have returned to some semblance of normal. In the meantime, we are asking for your support and generosity to help us carry out our mission.

East Rock Creek Village welcomes donations large and small. Help us thrive and grow as an integral part of our seven neighborhoods, ensuring our ability to provide services for many years to come.

Suggested donations:

If you are thriving financially: $500-$750+

If you are financially comfortable : $150-$499

If you are financially stretched: $25-$149

ERCV is an IRS designated 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Therefore gifts to ERCV are tax deductible. Gifts may be made in honor or memory of others, to underwrite pandemic assistance funds or general operating expenses.

Become an annual giver. We are grateful for generous annual gifts from members and others who want to provide some extra “insurance” that ERCV will be there for residents when they need it most.

If you or someone you know are facing challenges and needs assistance to purchase food, medicine, or household supplies, please let us know. Assistance is available through a generous grant from The Washington Home.
